Don't pass this place up! I had blueberry waffles, an omelet and hash browns. Everything way full of flavor and fairly priced. I will DEFINITELY be returning. It's worth the drive.
My wife and I were passing through Cleveland and looking for breakfast. I had eggs over easy with grits and a side of bacon. She ordered pancakes with a side of bacon. Due to COVID face masks were required and food was carry out only. The staff were friendly, the service was prompt. Overall the food was good and reasonably priced. Definitely well executed diner style cuisine. The bacon was the show stopper. Thick, flavorful and cooked just right where it is chewy and a bit crisp on the edges. The pancakes were pretty good but a bit chewy. This was probably because we waited until we got back to where we staying to eat.

Wow Janelle's ! You impress. Can't get five stars because I only ordered one item, but let me tell you these fresh cut fries were as good as any I've had in the city?! As a West Sider, I can tell you that the best fresh cut fries are either from XYZ in Gordon Square or Landmark in Clifton Baltic because the best fries are well seasoned, crispy yet fluffy, & creamy on the inside. Sounds easy enough, right? Trust me, there's someone in the kitchen working their magic. Give them a for makin it appear so damn simple to transform this humble root - a classic mash up of art and science -that results in a feeling akin to heaven on earth. I chose to take my food to go so I could get to a N'hood meeting but next time I will sit in the sun drenched dining room to enjoy the generous and thoughtful staff and patrons.
